This weekend started out with running into Bret Michaels at PetSmart. I had taken the boys in to get there teeth cleaned. No more rotten fish breath for Prince Pikachu Kimchee! Bret wasn’t into conversating, I understood I mean it was too early, like 7:30am. I hadn’t had my coffee yet either.
Then I went and picked up some bird food for HB’s bird feeder in the back yard. He likes the birds hanging out at our place.
Then I met HB in the city for Thai food.
I picked the boys up from the vet. Anesthesia still wearing off.
HB coddled the baby. No wonder the dog hates me. It’s a competition!!!
Him too!! I don’t have a chance!
I was too busy getting ready for my oldest Ashton and his best friend, Kaitlyn, to come visit us.
I bought them goodie baskets. I wanted them to feel special and have all the comforts of home!
His.
Hers.
My family did something really neat for my grandmother. I wish I were there too. First, my mom and Uncle Tom took her to a Independence Day themed concert in the park. Then my Uncle John and his family came and presented her a montage of my grandpas burial plot in Arlington Cemetery.
Aunt Karen, Katherine, Uncle Tom, my mom, Sam, and uncle John.

Grandma was so surprised and delighted.
Such a great time of remembrance for them all. xo
